Lillie Flores

Lillie Flores, 60, of Hereford died Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Amarillo.

A rosary is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10th in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Deacon José Correa as celebrant. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 12th at San José Catholic Church with Msgr. Arturo Meza as celebrant.

Cremation services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E. 6th St. There will be no viewing.

Lillie was born April 13, 1951 in Asherton, TX, to parents Herman Benavidez and María Cruzita Enriquez-Benavidez. She has lived in Hereford since 1959. Lillie has spent the last 30 years with the love of her life, Robert. She was a homemaker and a member of San José Catholic Church. Lillie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include, her husband of the home; four sons, Oscar Losolla and Sammy Flores both of Amarillo, Mike Losolla of Hereford and Albert Losolla of Lubbock; five daughters, Rose Ann Johnson of Ft. Worth, Brenda Rutland of Arlington, Norma Salazar of Andrews, Amanda Flores and Megan Flores both of Hereford; her mother, María Benavidez, of Hereford; two brothers, Herman Benavidez of Ft. Worth and Richard Benavidez of Sacramento, CA; three sisters, Delma Martinez of Corpus Christi, Oralia Benavidez of Hereford and Sylvia Benavidez of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Lillie was preceded in death by her father in 1997, and one daughter, Julie Flores, in 1999.
